Horizon Scanning and Emerging Risks

Webinar Registration
Brief Overview & Agenda of the Webinar

In an increasingly volatile and unpredictable world, how can risk managers proactively address the challenge of identifying emerging and rising risks?

Using a structured approach to address complex realities, we will suggest various ways to characterise and address emerging risks in organisations. Based on a methodology tested with prominent organisations including central banks, we explain the different ways of identifying and managing three types of emerging risks:

  • The emerging risks that we all know
  • The emerging risks that we don’t know
  • The emerging we should know

Lastly, we will discuss this general principle in light of the current Covid-19 crisis and start drawing some of the lessons learned for the next global events.
