Lt. General Russel L Honore (Ret.) joins an illustrious line of up of key note speakers for the Active Risk Manager Global Conference in Washington DC

Herndon, VA, April 23, 2018 – Sword GRC, a supplier of specialist risk management software and services, has announced that Lt General Russel Honore, best known as the commander of Joint Task Force Katrina, is to be a keynote speaker at the 2018 ARM Global Conference.  The first leg of this international series, the Conference takes place September 19 – 20, at the Hyatt Hotel, Reston. The ARM Global Conference program continues in London, at the Dorchester Hotel on October 8, and concludes in Sydney, Australia on November 1.

An eminent authority on Global Preparedness, Lt. General Honore become known as the ‘Category 5 General’ for his striking leadership style and effectiveness in mobilizing troops and relief efforts during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina on the New Orleans area. He helps organizations develop a culture of preparedness and problem solving with strategies for transforming individuals into take-charge leaders.  Drawing on his experience of managing conflicts both manmade and natural, he inspires audiences across business, management, government, military and education. His third book, Don’t get stuck on Stupid, discusses the business environment where changes and unpredictability are constant, and personal resilience is a requirement to succeed.
